Steve Lawes is a British cinematographer. He has worked across film, television and commercials for more than two decades.

He is best known for his work on the BBC series *Sherlock* (2010–2014), for which he received an RTS Craft nomination and a BAFTA Cymru Award. Lawes also won a Guild of Television Cameramen Award for *Death Comes to Pemberley* (2013). Other credits include *Strike Back* (2010), *Skellig* (2009), *Banished* (2015) and *Leonardo* (2021).
