Steve Reevis (1962–2017) was a Blackfeet Native American actor. Born in Browning, Montana, he attended Flandreau Indian School and Haskell Indian Junior College in Kansas before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

Reevis made his film debut in *Twins* (1988) and appeared in *Dances with Wolves* (1990) and *Geronimo: An American Legend* (1993). He is best known for playing Shep Proudfoot in the Coen brothers' *Fargo* (1996). Other credits include *The Longest Yard* (2005) and television appearances in *Malcolm in the Middle* and *JAG*. He received awards from First Americans in the Arts for his work in *Fargo* and *Crazy Horse* (1996).
