## Biography

Steve Tisch is an American film and television producer. Born on 14 February 1949 in Lakewood Township, New Jersey, he began his career as an assistant at Columbia Pictures before producing films independently from the mid-1970s.

His credits include *Risky Business* (1983), *Forrest Gump* (1994), for which he shared an Academy Award for Best Picture, *American History X* (1998), *Snatch* (2000), *The Pursuit of Happyness* (2006), *The Equalizer* (2014) and its sequels *The Equalizer 2* (2018) and *The Equalizer 3* (2023). He is a partner at Escape Artists.

Tisch has also served as chairman, co-owner and executive vice president of the New York Giants NFL team, which his family has co-owned since 1991. He is the only person to have received both an Academy Award and a Super Bowl ring.
