## Biography

Steven A. Jones is a producer and composer. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Design from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.

Jones has collaborated extensively with director John McNaughton. Their first feature, *Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer* (1986), on which Jones served as producer and co-composer of the score, premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in 1989 and received six Independent Spirit Award nominations. Subsequent joint projects include *The Borrower* (1991), *Mad Dog and Glory* (1993), *Normal Life* (1996) and *The Harvest* (2013). He has also produced films for other directors, including *Wild Things* (1998) and *The Promotion* (2008).

Jones has directed animated television commercials and music videos, and served as Producer in Residence at DePaul University, teaching graduate-level feature film producing classes. He lives in Chicago.
