## Biography

Steven-Charles Jaffe is an American film producer, director and screenwriter. He is the son of producer Herb Jaffe and has a brother, Robert Jaffe, who has also worked in film.

Jaffe has collaborated extensively with directors Nicholas Meyer and Kathryn Bigelow. His credits include associate producer and second unit director on *Time After Time* (1979), producer and second unit director on *Near Dark* (1987) and *Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country* (1991), producer on *Motel Hell* (1980) and *The Fly II* (1989), and executive producer on *Ghost* (1990). He also produced *Strange Days* (1995) and served as co-producer on *K-19: The Widowmaker* (2002).

Jaffe is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
