## Biography

Steven Levenson is an American playwright and screenwriter. He wrote for the Showtime series *Masters of Sex* (2013–2016) and served as showrunner and writer on the FX miniseries *Fosse/Verdon* (2019).

Levenson wrote the book for the musical *Dear Evan Hansen*, which premiered on Broadway in 2016 and won the Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical. He adapted the musical for the 2021 film and wrote the screenplay for the 2021 Netflix film *tick, tick... BOOM!*. He is a graduate of Brown University.
