Steven Meizler is a cinematographer. He began his career as a camera assistant and first assistant camera, working with Janusz Kamiński on films including *Schindler's List* (1993), *Jerry Maguire* (1996), *Saving Private Ryan* (1998) and *Minority Report* (2002), and with Steven Soderbergh on titles such as *Ocean's Twelve* (2004), *Contagion* (2011) and *Magic Mike* (2012).

Meizler moved into director of photography roles with the series *The Girlfriend Experience* (2016). Subsequent credits include the miniseries *Godless* (2017) and *The Queen's Gambit* (2020). For the latter he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie and an ASC Award. Other work includes *The OA* (2019) and *White House Plumbers* (2023).
