## Biography

Steven Molaro, also credited as Steve Molaro, is an American television writer and producer. He began his career in the early 2000s writing for Nickelodeon series including *The Amanda Show*, *Drake & Josh*, *Zoey 101* and *iCarly*, as well as *What I Like About You*.

From 2007 to 2019 he served as writer and producer on *The Big Bang Theory*, including as showrunner for seasons 6–10. He co-created the prequel *Young Sheldon* (2017–2024) with Chuck Lorre and *Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage* (2024) with Lorre and Steve Holland, acting as senior writer on all three series. He has received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series.
