Steven W. Carabatsos (2 October 1938 – 24 October 2025) was an American screenwriter. He grew up in Manhattan and attended Hunter College before studying at Cornell Law School, where he wrote a spec script for the medical drama *Ben Casey*.

Carabatsos served as story editor on the first season of *Star Trek* (1966) between the tenures of John D. F. Black and D. C. Fontana, working as script consultant on eleven episodes and contributing to several teleplays, including co-writing "Court Martial". He also wrote for *The Fugitive* (1963), *Ben Casey*, *Peyton Place*, *The Big Valley* and *Kojak*. His film screenplays include *El Condor* (1970), *Tentacles* (1977), *The Last Flight of Noah's Ark* (1980) and *Hot Pursuit* (1987).
