Stewart McAllister (27 December 1914 – 27 November 1962) was a British documentary film editor. Born in Wishaw, Lanarkshire, Scotland, he studied painting at Glasgow School of Art before joining the GPO Film Unit in 1937, initially working on graphics and stills.

During the Second World War he edited most of the films directed by Humphrey Jennings for the Crown Film Unit, including *Listen to Britain* (1942), on which he received a co-directing credit, and *Fires Were Started* (1943). He later worked as senior editor and producer for British Transport Films, contributing to titles such as *Berth 24* (1950) and *I Am a Litter Basket* (1959).
