Stewart Svaasand is a British director and writer of television drama and feature films. He has directed episodes of series including *Vera* (2015), *Shetland* (2014), *Wolfblood* (2013), *Harriet's Army* (2014), *Jekyll & Hyde* (2015), *Silent Witness* (2017), *Death in Paradise* (2018–2019), *Grantchester* (2019), *Tin Star* (2020), *Outlander* (2024), *All Creatures Great & Small* (2022–2025) and *Lynley* (2025).

His feature film work includes directing and writing *One Last Chance* (2004). He has received a BAFTA Children's Award for Best Drama for *The Dumping Ground* and a nomination in the same category for *Harriet's Army*.
