Stu Kreisman (born Stuart Kreisman) is an American television writer and producer. Born on 16 April 1953 in New York City, he began his career in the mid-1970s and formed a long-term writing partnership with Chris Cluess.

Kreisman wrote for the sketch comedy series *SCTV Network* (1981–1982), for which he shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Variety or Music Program. He contributed episodes to sitcoms including *Newhart* (1986), *Cheers* (1987), *The Tortellis* (1987) and *I Married Dora* (1987). He served as story editor and writer on *Night Court* (1984–1991) and later as executive producer on the series (1990–1992).

Kreisman developed the series *Molloy* (1990) and created *Madman of the People* (1994–1995).
