## Biography

Stu Nahan was an American television sportscaster and actor. He worked in Los Angeles broadcasting from the 1950s to the 1990s, delivering sports reports on stations including KABC-TV, KNBC-TV and KTLA-TV, and later hosted radio shows and Dodgers pre- and post-game programmes.

He is best known for appearing as a boxing commentator in the *Rocky* film series, including as Commentator #1 in *Rocky IV* (1985). He featured in all six films in the series, from *Rocky* (1976) to *Rocky Balboa* (2006). Nahan also had roles in films such as *Fast Times at Ridgemont High* (1982) and television series including *Baywatch* and *Sabrina, the Teenage Witch*.

In May 2007 he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He died later that year on 26 December.
