## Biography

Stuart Blumberg is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He co-wrote the screenplay for the film *The Kids Are All Right* (2010) with Lisa Cholodenko, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

Blumberg grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, graduated from University School and earned a BA in History from Yale University in 1991. His other screenwriting credits include *Keeping the Faith* (2000) and *The Girl Next Door* (2004). He made his feature directorial debut with *Thanks for Sharing* (2012), which he also co-wrote.
