## Biography

Stuart Jerome (1918–1983) was an American television writer. Born in New York, he began his Hollywood career in 1938 as a mail-room employee at Warner Bros. before moving into screenwriting.

He contributed episodes to many series of the 1950s and 1960s, including three for *The Fugitive* (1963–1964) — "Nightmare at Northoak", "Search in a Windy City" and "World's End" — as well as work on *Alfred Hitchcock Presents*, *Sea Hunt*, *Everglades!*, *Lock Up* and *Checkmate*. He also wrote the 1983 memoir *Those Crazy Wonderful Years When We Ran Warner Brothers*.
