Stuart Pankin is an American actor. Born on 8 April 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he studied at Dickinson College and Columbia University before beginning a career in stage productions, including work with the New York Shakespeare Festival.

Pankin is known for his role as Bob Charles on the HBO series *Not Necessarily the News* (1983–1990) and as the voice of Earl Sinclair in the sitcom *Dinosaurs* (1991–1994). Film credits include Jimmy in *Fatal Attraction* (1987), Sheriff Parsons in *Arachnophobia* (1990), and appearances in *The Artist* (2011) and *Congo* (1995). He has also voiced characters in animated series such as *Batman: The Animated Series* and guest-starred in *Curb Your Enthusiasm* and *Desperate Housewives*.

He has been married to actress Joy Pankin since 1974.
