## Biography

Sue Chan is a production designer and art director. She was born in New York City and raised in central New Jersey. After studying design with a minor in East Asian Studies, she worked in architecture and theatre in San Francisco before entering film and television.

Her production design credits include *Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings* (2021), *Where the Crawdads Sing* (2022), *Colossal* (2017), *The Half of It* (2020) and *Shirley* (2020). Earlier in her career she served as supervising art director on *Gone Girl* (2014) and art director on *Crazy, Stupid, Love.* (2011) and *Punch-Drunk Love* (2002). Her debut as production designer was on *Dancing in September* (2000). She has also worked on *Landscape with Invisible Hand* (2023) and the series *Patriot* (2018).

Chan splits her time between Los Angeles and Connecticut.
