## Biography

Sue Holderness is an English actress. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and began her career in theatre with the Manchester 69 Theatre Company.

She is best known for playing Marlene Boyce in the BBC sitcom *Only Fools and Horses* (1985–2003) and its spin-off *The Green Green Grass* (2005–2009). Other television appearances include roles in *EastEnders*, *Casualty*, *Holby City*, *Doctors* and *Still Open All Hours*.

Since 2021 she has played Judith Lloyd James in the Channel 5 series *The Madame Blanc Mysteries*.
