Susan Beavers is an American television writer and producer. She began her career in television production, working as a receptionist on *Barney Miller*, then as a production secretary, writer’s assistant and script supervisor on series including *Soap* and *Night Court*.

Her writing credits include freelance episodes of *Newhart* (1985), *The Golden Girls* (1986) and *The Facts of Life*, as well as staff positions on *Growing Pains* and *Empty Nest*. She created the series *Dudley* (1993), *The Office* (1995) and *Oh Baby* (1998–2000). Later work includes writing and producing on *Dharma & Greg* and *Two and a Half Men* (2003–2012), for which she received Emmy nominations.
