Susan Blackwell is an American actress, writer and singer. She was born on 29 October 1969 in Dayton, Ohio, and trained at Wright State University, where she received a BFA, and the University of Minnesota, where she received an MFA.

Blackwell is best known for originating a version of herself in the musical *[title of show]* and its related projects. She has appeared in numerous stage productions as well as guest roles on television series including *The Sopranos*, *Person of Interest*, *Succession* and *Master of None*.
