## Biography

Susan Gauthier is an American screenwriter and television writer. She is credited with the screenplay for the animated film *Anastasia* (1997), alongside Bruce Graham, Bob Tzudiker and Noni White, following an earlier draft by Eric Tuchman. In 1995 she collaborated with Graham on a major rewrite that shifted the project toward a lighter, family-oriented romantic comedy with fantasy elements.

Gauthier began her career writing for television, contributing sketches to *The Tracey Ullman Show* (1987–1990) and episodes of series including *The Sweet Life* (1989–1990) and *My Talk Show* (1990–1991). She is a former member of Chicago’s Second City comedy troupe and has also worked as an actress and producer.
