## Biography

Susan Wokoma is a British actress, writer and director. Born on 31 December 1987 in London, she participated in CBBC's Serious Jungle in 2002 and was a member of the National Youth Theatre before training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2010.

She played Cynthia Gordon in the series *Chewing Gum* (2015–2017) and Raquel in *Crazyhead* (2016). Other television credits include Jessica in *Crashing* (2016), Helen in *Truth Seekers* (2020) and Fola in *Cheaters* (2022–2024). Film roles include Edith in *Enola Holmes* (2020) and *Enola Holmes 2* (2022), and Della in *The Inbetweeners 2* (2014).

Wokoma won the RTS Best On-Screen Performance award for *Crazyhead* in 2017 and was named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit the same year. She has also written and directed short films.
