Susannah Doyle is an English actress and playwright, born on 5 July 1966 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. She trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and is the daughter of the Irish actor Tony Doyle.

She is best known for playing Joy Merryweather in the Channel 4 comedy series *Drop the Dead Donkey* (1991–1998) and Avril Burke in *Ballykissangel* (2001). Other credits include *Scandal* (1989), *About a Boy* (2002), *Midsomer Murders* (2004), *Black Mirror* (2016) and *The Last Vermeer* (2020). She has also written for stage and screen.
