## Biography

Susie Bright is an American actor, writer and sex-positive feminist, also known as Susie Sexpert. She played Jesse in the 1996 film *Bound*, directed by the Wachowski siblings, and served as its technical advisor.

Bright appeared as herself in the documentary *The Celluloid Closet* (1996) and guest-starred as herself in an episode of the television series *Six Feet Under* (2005). Earlier credits include roles in *Virgin Machine* (1988) and *The Grafenberg Spot* (1985). She studied at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Bright was the founding editor of the magazine *On Our Backs* and has written and edited numerous books on sexuality and erotica, including the *Best American Erotica* series.
