## Biography

Suzanne Flon was a French stage, film and television actress. Born on 28 January 1918 in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, she worked as an English translator and as secretary to Édith Piaf before making her stage debut in 1943. She appeared in numerous plays by Jean Anouilh and others, and received two Molière Awards.

Her film roles included Myriamme Hayam in *Moulin Rouge* (1952), Miss Pittl in *The Trial* (1962), Mademoiselle Villard in *The Train* (1964), and Nine in *One Deadly Summer* (1983). She won two César Awards for best supporting actress. Flon died on 15 June 2005 in Paris.
