## Biography

Suzy Kendall is a British retired actress. Born Freda Harriet Harrison in Belper, Derbyshire, she attended Derby & District College of Art, where she studied painting and design, before working as a fabric designer and photographic model.

She began acting in the mid-1960s and appeared in British films including *To Sir, with Love* (1967) and *The Bird with the Crystal Plumage* (1970), as well as several Italian giallo thrillers such as *Torso* (1973) and *Spasmo* (1974). After retiring from screen roles in 1977 she returned in *Berberian Sound Studio* (2012), credited as Special Scream Performance.

Kendall was married to actor Dudley Moore from 1968 to 1972 and later to Sandy Harper.
