## Biography

Sven Wichmann was a Danish production designer and set decorator. Born in Nyborg in 1931, he worked in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s as a set decorator on television series such as *Julia* and *Nanny and the Professor*, and on the film *Beneath the Planet of the Apes* (1970).

He later served as production designer on Danish and Scandinavian films, including *Babette's Feast* (1987), *Prince of Jutland* (1994) and *The Olsen Gang's Last Trick* (1998). Wichmann died in 2024.
