## Biography

Sven Wollter was a Swedish actor. He trained at the Gothenburg City Theatre student school from 1953 to 1957 and worked at several Swedish theatres, including the Gothenburg City Theatre from 1967 to 1983 and the Stockholm City Theatre from 1986.

He appeared in numerous films and television productions. His roles include Lennart Kollberg in *The Man on the Roof* (1976), Victor in Andrei Tarkovsky's *The Sacrifice* (1986), Axel Flogfält in *House of Angels* (1992), and the voice of the Odd Man in *The House* (2022), his final role. He also played the retired Detective Chief Inspector Van Veeteren in adaptations of Håkan Nesser's novels.

Wollter died on 10 November 2020 in Luleå, Sweden.
