## Biography

Sydney Blackburn is an American actress based in Dublin. Her screen credits include the role of Ben's Assistant in the 2026 Blumhouse film *Soulm8te*, directed by Kate Dolan, and a featured role in the 2022 Universal comedy *Marry Me*, directed by Kat Coiro. She has the lead role of Kara in the 2024 comedy feature *American Schemers*.

Blackburn trained at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned a BFA in Drama. She holds an M.Phil in screenwriting from Trinity College Dublin and has studied Irish theatre at the Gaiety School. Her theatre work includes productions of *Ragtime*, *The Addams Family* and *The Apple Tree*.

She is also a writer and director, with credits on short films including *Please Cast Us Rachel Bloom* (2018).
