## Biography

Sylvain Lebel is a Canadian film and television editor. Born in 1961 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, he began his career working as an assistant editor on projects including *Lost and Delirious* (2001) and *C.R.A.Z.Y.* (2005).

Lebel has edited numerous television miniseries and series, among them seven episodes of the HBO drama *Big Little Lies* (2017), *The Pillars of the Earth* (2010), *True North* (2016) and *Transplant* (2020–). He has also edited Cirque du Soleil productions such as *Corteo* (2006). He received a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on *Corteo* and a nomination for *Big Little Lies*.
