Sylvain White is a French film and television director and screenwriter. He attended the University of La Sorbonne before earning a scholarship to Pomona College in California, where he graduated with honours in film production and media studies.

White began his career with award-winning short films, music videos and commercials. He made his feature debut with *Stomp the Yard* (2007) and went on to direct *The Losers* (2010), *The Mark of the Angels* (2013) and *Slender Man* (2018). He has directed episodes of numerous television series, including *Person of Interest* (2013–2014), *The Americans* (2017–2018), *Fargo* (2020–2023), *The Umbrella Academy* and *For All Mankind*.
