Syreeta Singleton is an American writer and producer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she studied public relations and worked as a publicist before focusing on screenwriting. She began writing stories, poems and raps as a child.

Singleton met Issa Rae at a content creators' workshop; Rae later invited her to work on *Insecure* (2016), where she started as an assistant before becoming a staff writer, story editor and executive story editor. She wrote for *Black Monday* (2019) and *Central Park* (2020), and served as showrunner on *Rap Sh!t* (2022–2023). Her debut feature screenplay, *One of Them Days* (2025), stars Keke Palmer and SZA.
