T.J. Scott is a Canadian film and television director, screenwriter and producer. He began his career as a stunt performer and actor before moving into directing, with early credits including the feature film *TC 2000* (1993). He directed multiple episodes of *Xena: Warrior Princess* (1995) and worked on the related series *Hercules: The Legendary Journeys*.

Scott has directed episodes of numerous series including *Spartacus* (2010), *Gotham* (2014), *Orphan Black* (2013), *The Strain* (2014), *Black Sails* (2014), *Bates Motel* (2013), *Constantine* (2014), *Star Trek: Discovery* (2017) and *Doom Patrol* (2019). He won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction in a Dramatic Series for *Orphan Black* in 2015 and received a Gemini Award nomination for the television film *Deadliest Sea* (2009).
