Okabe appeared in *Godzilla* (1954) as Professor Tanabe's Assistant, *Mothra vs. Godzilla* (1964) as a JSDF Member, *Ebirah, Horror of the Deep* (1966) as a Red Bamboo Scientist, *Destroy All Monsters* (1968) as an announcer, and *Godzilla vs. Hedorah* (1971) as a scientist, among many other credits in the genre.
