Tahirah Amandla Sharif is a British actress. She was born on 27 July 1985 in London, England, and trained at the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon and at the Identity School of Acting.

Sharif is known for her television roles as Carrie Norton in *Waterloo Road* (2015), Rebecca Jessel in *The Haunting of Bly Manor* (2020), PC Lizzie Adama in *The Tower* (2021–2024), for which she received a BAFTA nomination for Supporting Actress, Cindy Carter in *A Town Called Malice* (2023), and Kim Harper in *Fightland* (2026). She has also appeared in the *A Christmas Prince* film series (2017–2019) as Melissa and in films including *The Invisible Woman* (2013).

Her stage work includes productions at the National Theatre and Hampstead Theatre.
