Tamala Jones is an American actress. She was born Tamala Reneé Jones on 12 November 1974 in Pasadena, California.

Jones began her career with guest appearances on television series including *The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air* (1990) and made her feature film debut in *How to Make an American Quilt* (1995). She is known for her role as Lanie Parish on the series *Castle* (2009–2016) and for appearances in films such as *Booty Call* (1997), *The Wood* (1999), *Kingdom Come* (2001), *The Brothers* (2001) and *What Men Want* (2019). Other credits include *Blue Streak* (1999), *My Name Is Earl* (2005), *The Rookie* (2018) and *9-1-1: Lone Star* (2020).
