## Biography

Tamara Deverell is a Canadian production designer and art director. She began her career in Montreal working in art departments alongside designer François Séguin, later serving as art director on films including David Cronenberg’s *Crash* (1996) and *eXistenZ* (1999), Guillermo del Toro’s *Mimic* (1997) and *X-Men* (2000). She has maintained a long collaboration with del Toro across multiple projects.

Her production design credits include *Nightmare Alley* (2021), *Priscilla* (2023) and *Frankenstein* (2025). She has also worked on television series such as *The Strain* (2014–2017), *Star Trek: Discovery* (2017–2019) and *Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities* (2022). Deverell received an Academy Award for *Frankenstein* and an Emmy Award for *Cabinet of Curiosities*.
