## Biography

Tanase Popa is a television producer at Ryan Murphy Productions. He has worked on series including *Pose* (2018–2021), where he served as co-producer, producer and supervising producer, *American Horror Story*, *American Crime Story*, *Ratched* and *Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story*.

A 2006 B.F.A. graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in stage management, Popa previously worked as company manager on Broadway productions and national tours including *Wicked* and *Next to Normal*. He also served as assistant to the producer and director on Pixar’s *Coco* (2017).

Popa is a co-founder of Ryan Murphy’s Half Initiative, which he helped develop as programme director in its early years, and has received a Peabody Award, an AFI Award and multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
