Tanay Hemant Chheda is an Indian actor. Born on 27 June 1996 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, he began his career as a child actor with a role in the 2006 film *Don*.

He is known for his performances as Rajan Damodaran in *Like Stars on Earth* (2007), Middle Jamal in *Slumdog Millionaire* (2008), and young Rizwan Khan in *My Name Is Khan* (2010). As part of the ensemble cast of *Slumdog Millionaire*, he shared in the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. He later appeared as Musa in the 2011 German film *Lilly the Witch: The Journey to Mandolan*. He attended Choate Rosemary Hall.
