Tara Lynne O'Neill is a Northern Irish actress. She began her career as a television presenter on *Saturday Disney* (1993–1996) and *The Over the Wall Gang* for BBC Northern Ireland.

O'Neill has appeared in film and television roles including *The Most Fertile Man in Ireland* (1999), *Wild About Harry* (2000), *EastEnders* (2002–2003) as Joanne Ryan, *Disco Pigs* (2001), *The Fall* (2013–2016), and *The Bay* (2019). She is best known for playing Ma Mary Quinn in the series *Derry Girls* (2018–2022).

She also works in theatre and as a writer, with credits including commissions for the Lyric Theatre, Belfast.
