Tarak Ben Ammar is a Tunisian film producer and distributor. Born on 12 June 1949 in Tunis, he studied at Georgetown University before beginning his career in film production.

He founded production companies including Carthago Films and Quinta Communications, and established the first film studios in Tunisia. His credits include production roles on *Jesus of Nazareth* (1977), *Life of Brian* (1979), *Raiders of the Lost Ark* (1981), *Femme Fatale* (2002), *Hannibal Rising* (2007) and *The Equalizer 3* (2023). He has also worked as an executive producer on several international projects and advised media investors including Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.
