Tarita Teriipaia, also credited as Tarita, is a retired French Polynesian actress. She was born in Bora Bora, French Polynesia, in December 1941.

She is known for her sole credited film role as Maimiti opposite Marlon Brando in *Mutiny on the Bounty* (1962). For the performance she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Teriipaia was in a relationship with Brando from 1962; they had two children together and separated in 1972.
