Tawny Cypress is an American actress. She trained at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and the William Esper Studio.

She is known for her role as Simone Deveaux in the series *Heroes* (2006–2007) and as Taissa Turner in *Yellowjackets* (2021–present). Other television credits include recurring roles in *K-Ville* (2007–2008), *House of Cards* (2013) and *Unforgettable* (2013–2014). She has also appeared in stage productions including *The Tempest* and *Amadeus*.
