Taylor Jenkins Reid is an American author and television producer. Her novel *Daisy Jones & the Six* (2019) was adapted into a 2023 Prime Video miniseries, on which she served as a producer.

Reid was born on 20 December 1983 in Maryland. She graduated from Emerson College with a degree in media studies and began her career in film production as a casting assistant in Los Angeles. Her first novel, *Forever, Interrupted*, was published in 2013. She is also known for the novels *The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo* (2017), *One True Loves* (2016) and its 2023 film adaptation, *Malibu Rising* (2021) and *Carrie Soto Is Back* (2022).
