Ted Jessup is an American television writer, producer and actor. Born on 23 August 1960, he has written multiple episodes of the animated series *Family Guy* and held producing roles on the show from 2012 to 2019. His other production credits include *The Al Franken Show*, *World's Dumbest...* and earlier series such as *Dave & Steve's Video Game Explosion*.

As a performer, Jessup appeared as Chatty 'John' in Steven Soderbergh’s film *The Girlfriend Experience* (2009). He also played a pundit in the comedy *Ted 2* (2015) and has contributed to sketch comedy on *The Late Late Show* with Craig Kilborn. Earlier in his career he served as executive producer on the 1995 feature *Throwing Down*.
