## Biography

Ted Pearson, also credited as Theodore Anders Pearson, was an American actor and radio announcer. Born on 3 November 1902 in Arlington, Nebraska, he attended the MacPhail School of Music and the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. After early work in radio announcing and performing in Indiana and for NBC programmes in Chicago and New York, he moved into film.

His screen debut was as Harnet in *Navy Blue and Gold* (1937). He played Joe in *Test Pilot* (1938) and appeared in *Dick Tracy's G-Men* (1939) as Steve Lockwood and *Boy Friend* (1939). Later credits included uncredited roles in *The Day the Earth Stood Still* (1951) and *Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell* (1951). He was married to actress Charlotte Keane and died on 5 October 1961 in New York.
