## Biography

Teresa Brescianini was an Italian actress from Palosco in the province of Bergamo. A non-professional performer and local resident, she appeared as Widow Runk in Ermanno Olmi's *The Tree of Wooden Clogs* (1978), a film largely cast with farmers from the area and spoken in the Bergamasque dialect.

She later played Concetta in the Taviani brothers' *Night Sun* (1990). Brescianini died in September 2024 at the age of 89.
