## Biography

Terry Duggan (1932–2008) was a British actor and comedian. Born Terence A. Duggan in Hoxton, London, he had a background in cabaret and variety before appearing in numerous character roles on television and in film from the mid-1960s.

He played Kevin in the film *Beautiful Thing* (1996). Other screen credits include Nobby in *On the Buses* (1971), an uncredited role in *2001: A Space Odyssey* (1968), and appearances in *Performance* (1970), *The Horror of Frankenstein* (1970), *Murder by Decree* (1979) and *Riff-Raff* (1991). Duggan frequently collaborated with his wife, actress Anna Karen, including multiple episodes of the sitcom *On the Buses*.

He was a member of the entertainers' charity The Grand Order of Water Rats.
