Terry Farrell is an American actress and former fashion model. She is best known for playing Jadzia Dax in the first six seasons of the television series *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* (1993–1998).

Farrell began her career as a model in New York before studying acting. Her early roles included the series *Paper Dolls* (1984) and the film *Back to School* (1986). She appeared in guest roles on series such as *Quantum Leap* (1989) and *The Cosby Show* (1984), and had a lead role in *Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth* (1992). After leaving *Deep Space Nine*, she starred as Regina "Reggie" Kostas in the sitcom *Becker* (1998–2002). She largely retired from acting in 2003.
