## Biography

Tessa Hoffe is a director and writer originally from New Zealand and based in the UK. She began her career directing short films and episodes of New Zealand soap *Shortland Street*, before moving to the UK in 2003 where she directed multiple episodes of soaps including *Hollyoaks*, *Coronation Street*, *Emmerdale* and *Grange Hill*.

Her television credits include directing episodes of *Wayne* (2019), *Kin* (2021), *Crossfire* (2022) and *Gangs of London* (2020), as well as *Zero Chill* (2021) and *Youth & Consequences* (2018). She has also worked as a pick-up and second-unit director on *Ted Lasso* (2020). Hoffe is Emmy-nominated for her work on *Zero Chill* and *Youth & Consequences*, and BAFTA-nominated for *Rocket's Island*.
